At One Stop Housing Cares, our mission is simple and urgent: prevent homelessness before it starts by keeping people housed and supported through life’s most vulnerable moments.

Every dollar raised goes directly into programs designed to stabilize housing and strengthen lives.
Through the Embrace, Inspire, Empower program, One Stop Cares provides both immediate financial relief and long-term support. This includes short-term assistance such as rent stabilization paired with hands-on guidance from an Empowerment Navigator who works one-on-one with individuals and families.
Your support helps fund:
- Emergency assistance that prevents eviction before it happens
- Budgeting and financial coaching to build long-term stability
- Employment and education support to increase income and opportunity
- Access to healthcare, transportation, and essential services
- Ongoing mentorship and accountability to ensure lasting success
This approach is intentional. It is not just about solving a short-term crisis, but about creating a path forward. As the organization emphasizes, support is designed as “a hand up, not a handout,” helping individuals build independence and self-sufficiency.
Beyond Crisis: Building Stability and Opportunity
One Stop Cares takes a comprehensive approach to community support. Donations also help power initiatives that bring vital resources directly into housing communities, including meals, healthcare access, job services, educational programming, and essential household support.
By addressing challenges early, before they escalate into displacement, the organization strengthens families and preserves stable housing. Housing stability becomes the foundation for everything else, including employment, education, health, and overall well-being.

Every online gift during the 24-hour fundraiser was matched one-to-one, up to $100 per donor. This matching support expanded the reach of every contribution and helped maximize the impact for families in need.
